Braun Series 3 3040 Review: An Affordable Electric Shaver

Ok, so let’s run through a typical morning in the life of the average person. Before work (in order to look very professional!) you need to get a good shave in, so you reach for your two options: the classic cartridge razor, and your electric razor. Let’s do a quick pros and cons list;

They’ll work if you don’t care about getting a rash or leaving sloppy stubble on your face, but if you want to look like a professional in the workplace and earn people’s respect through a smooth, stubble-free face, you’re going to need something with a bit more quality.

Will The Braun Series 3 3040 Do the Job?

This razor has gained quite a bit of popularity due to the sheer number of NFL players that prefer it to any other razor. The NFL has gone to far as to make this their officially preferred razor.

Think about it. When your players are going to make TV appearances and become the faces of different products for endorsements, you can’t use a device that will leave them looking like a homeless person that just rolled out of bed in the morning.

Why has the NFL chosen this as their preferred razor? There are several features that set this razor apart. Here’s a look at what makes people like this razor.

The Braun Foil System

If this razor had this feature and no others it would STILL be worth buying. The Braun Series 3 3040 uses 3 foil cutting blades that are designed to avoid irritating your skin.

But if you are someone who has short facial hair that needs to be trimmed daily or on most days, this razor will work well for you! Just be careful, men with huge beards. Your hair WILL be pulled!

Closing Thoughts

On the whole, I can’t think of many people who will not be able to get a lot of usage out of this razor. The charge is extremely fast; 5 minutes of charging will let you shave completely. One full charge will give you almost 2 full hours of usage.

The grip on this razor is amazing; it feels like a natural extension of your hand. Even people who gave the razor negative reviews talked about how amazing the grip was.
